Pharmacy Technician

Position: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician Needed
Humber River Health seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to ensure effective medication preparation and distribution. This full-time position offers a chance to enhance patient care within our innovative healthcare facility.

As part of our collaborative pharmacy team, you will focus on accurate medication management, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Manager of Pharmacy Services, your essential skills will contribute to a high reliability care model that prioritizes community health. You will engage in impactful daily operations while adhering to our comprehensive approach to pharmacy practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of drug distribution and medication preparation

• Pre-pack medications and monitor expiry dates

• Deliver medications and maintain accurate documentation

• Assist in sterile product preparation and narcotic management

• Complete related tasks as needed to support pharmacy operations

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program

• Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPh.T)

• Preferred 1-2 years of pharmacy experience

• Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload

• Excellent attendance and communication skills
