The Counsellor/Therapist 2 position offers the chance to blend psychotherapy with traditional healing methods, focusing on client wellness through supportive counselling and group therapy. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on wellness
• Lead therapeutic and psychoeducation groups
• Liaise with community organizations and healthcare providers
• Engage in ongoing program development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Master's degree in relevant mental health discipline
• Three years of clinical psychotherapy experience
• Registered member of a healthcare regulatory body
• Strong communication and cultural competence skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
