Casual Program Aide at Yee Hong

Support clients at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care as a Casual Program Aide. Engage in high-quality personal care and activity planning in a safe and inclusive environment.

In this role, you will work under the direction of the Program Manager/Coordinator to facilitate engaging activities and provide support to clients. This position calls for skills in personal care, meal assistance, and encouraging social interactions while ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all. Flexibility and responsiveness, especially in terms of medical emergencies, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage client activities safely

• Provide personal care and support daily activities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving

• Promote social interaction among clients

• Respond to medical emergencies promptly

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker course

• C.P.R. certification required

• Good communication skills in English and Chinese

• Satisfactory Police Reference Check

• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
