As a key member of the Urgent Care Clinic, you'll provide essential mental health services at Toronto Western Hospital. Your focus will be on therapeutic interventions and crisis management while collaborating with various team members and agencies. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health assessments in urgent care settings
• Provide crisis intervention and brief psychotherapy services
• Collaborate with community agencies for patient resources
• Educate families on mental health and addictions issues
• Serve as a resource for Emergency and Psychiatry staff
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing
• Minimum three years of mental health experience
• Knowledge of DSM IV and mental health assessment skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
