Reporting directly to the Manager of Allied Health, your role involves delivering Speech Language Services to diverse patient populations. Candidates with experience in neurogenic communication disorders and clinical swallowing assessments will excel in this position, offering compassionate support to patients across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for communication and swallowing disorders
• Oversee the management of swallowing interventions
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient support
• Document and communicate patient care plans effectively
• Educate families and care staff on speech therapy techniques
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registered with the College of Audiology and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
• Experience working with adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
