The successful applicant will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and must be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. Experience in acute care settings, particularly in General Internal Medicine and Oncology, is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, independent judgment, and the ability to handle priority changes with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recognize and act within the Speech Language Pathology practice scope
• Develop and implement patient assessment and treatment plans
• Adjust to changes in priorities and tasks seamlessly
• Work independently while maintaining team collaboration
• Deliver presentations and professional education in the healthcare setting
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology mandatory
• Registration with CASLPO required
• Minimum of two years experience in acute care setting preferred
• Experience with Oncology and General Internal Medicine ideal
• A flexible mindset for varied work situations
