- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations within the Division of Anatomic Pathology
- Receives, accessions, requests and returns pathology and biomarker consultation material
- Works with medical staff, management, peers to support the patient care activities of the Division
- Interacts collaboratively and professionally with clinical providers and external services
- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations within the Division of Anatomic Pathology
- Receives, accessions, requests and returns pathology and biomarker consultation material
- Performs digital slide image management
- Works with medical staff, management, peers to support the patient care activities of the Division
- Interacts collaboratively and professionally with clinical providers and external services
- Completion of a recognized medical office administration program with medical terminology course preferred
- Experience in healthcare industry required
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Outlook
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute
- Ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a high-volume work environment
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Effective multitasking skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
