Ultrasound Technologist

Position: Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist at Humber River Health

This permanent position in the Medical Imaging team reports to the Manager of Medical Imaging. You will perform various ultrasound duties, ensure patient readiness, and provide crucial imaging documentation to enhance clinical outcomes.

Your role is integral to improving healthcare services in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all general ultrasound procedures, including OB/Gyn and vascular studies

• Confirm patient readiness and validity of exams prior to procedures

• Complete imaging processes and sonographer’s impressions accurately

• Present documentation to radiologists via PACS

• Communicate and collaborate effectively within the medical team

Requirements:

• Registration or in progress with CMRITO in Ontario

• Preferred minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound

• Strong documentation and anatomy expertise

• Personal Liability Insurance (PLI) required

• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
