Senior Healthcare​/Clinical Data Integration Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare (HL7) / Clinical Data Integration Specialist with strong hands-on experience in healthcare data integration, interoperability standards, and clinical data validation. The successful candidate will support healthcare data contribution and integration initiatives, ensuring that clinical data meets defined HL7, FHIR, conformance, validation, and quality requirements

This role requires practical experience working with healthcare organizations and systems such as HIS, EMR, LIS
, and Integration Engines. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with technical teams, project managers, clinical SMEs, and external stakeholders.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering electronic healthcare data integration projects or operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x — mandatory

• Experience with HL7 v3 and practical knowledge of FHIR and XML messaging principles.
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare data standards conformance and validation tooling
  , such as Caristix, XMLSpy, 7
  
  Edit, Postman, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience understanding healthcare workflows and source systems
  , including HIS, EMR, and LIS.
• Hands-on experience working with Integration Engines / interface technologies

• Experience acquiring, integrating, validating, and utilizing healthcare data using interoperability standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with technical teams, project managers, and clinical SMEs.

• Perform data conformance and integration activities for healthcare data contribution and adoption initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise in HL7 v2 and FHIR for healthcare integration projects.
• Review, evaluate, test, and validate clinical data and healthcare messages for standards compliance and readiness.
• Assess external interfaces and advise technical teams on HL7/FHIR implementation and integration requirements.
• Manage multiple data integration work packages with demanding timelines.
• Conduct HL7 message conformance testing
  , clinical validation, and data readiness assessments.
• Identify data quality, conformance, integration, and implementation issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Support the integration of patient, ADT, laboratory, clinical, and other healthcare data.
• Review healthcare messages against applicable specifications and implementation guides.
• Document conformance testing, validation results, issues, decisions, limitations, and outstanding deliverables.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with project leads, product teams, external stakeholders, and SMEs.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders.
