Step into a vital role at VEG as a Full-Time Veterinary Sonographer, providing essential ultrasound services in an emergency setting. This onsite position enables you to make impactful contributions to animal care and training.
As part of an innovative team, you will engage directly with emergency doctors to perform same-day ultrasound scans and facilitate educational training across various locations. You will play an essential role in mentoring fellow staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in ultrasound techniques. Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out ultrasound scans for emergency patients on-site
• Lead ultrasound training initiatives for staff improvement
• Maintain connection with consulting radiologists for quality assurance
• Regularly review training effectiveness and modify programs
• Facilitate training sessions on ultrasound methodologies
Requirements:
• 3+ years of veterinary ultrasound work required
• Relevant credentials (RVT, RDMS)
• Experience in a training capacity preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Desire to travel for specialized training
