YACUB FAMILY in Scarborough, ON is searching for a Permanent Home Health Care Worker. Provide compassionate support to an elderly couple in need of personal care and companionship.
This full-time role offers 30-40 hours a week with a competitive pay of $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, light housekeeping, and preparing nutritious meals. Candidates with a secondary graduation certificate or relevant experience will be prioritized. A commitment to client wellbeing is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal and bedside care for clients
• Assist with bathing and hygiene practices
• Prepare healthy meals following dietary needs
• Conduct light housekeeping and mending duties
• Ensure companionship and participate in exercise
Requirements:
• Complete a criminal record check for safety
• Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
• Reliability and flexibility are essential traits
• Demonstrate judgement and trustworthy behavior
• Approachable and patient during care routines
