Position: Occupational Therapist with CAMH Team
Pursue a dynamic career as an Occupational Therapist with CAMH's Downtown West Flexible Assertive Community Treatment Team, specializing in recovery-focused services for adults experiencing severe mental illnesses.

This full-time, temporary position lasts until September 10, 2027, emphasizing client-centered outpatient care. In this role, you will engage directly with clients experiencing concurrent disorders, collaborate with an inter-professional team, and formulate detailed treatment and discharge plans. You will leverage your crisis intervention skills to offer comprehensive support to clients across diverse backgrounds in various community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments for diverse clientele

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans

• Facilitate coordination with inpatient care teams

• Supervise and educate students in occupational therapy

• Participate in innovative program research initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• Minimum three years working in mental health settings

• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and crisis intervention

• Experience with physical functional mobility assessments

• Preferences for community experience and bilingual candidates
