Join Calmar Orthopaedics as a Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician and contribute to patient care through innovative mobility solutions. This full-time role requires hands-on fabrication and collaboration with healthcare providers.
In this on-site position, you will be responsible for fabricating and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices according to individual patient specifications. Your ability to interpret clinical guidelines and work with various materials will directly impact patient mobility and comfort. Collaborating with clinicians to troubleshoot and improve processes is a crucial aspect of your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and repair custom orthotic and prosthetic devices
• Support clinicians during patient fittings and evaluations
• Maintain accurate documentation of fabrication processes
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in device creation
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a prosthetics or orthotics setting
• Strong technical skills in device fabrication and repair
