Position: UHN Pharmacy Technician Role

As a part of the Pharmacy Services Inpatient Operations Team, you will independently manage technical duties including compounding medications and maintaining accurate patient records. Your engagement in staff training sessions will also contribute to enhanced team performance and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently compound and dispense prescriptions

• Ensure stock medication supplies are replenished

• Update and maintain patient information in systems

• Produce all documentation and reports as required

• Assist in training sessions for staff and patients

Requirements:

• Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program completion required

• Good standing registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Prior hospital experience preferred
