This position is critical for overseeing structured activities and providing emotional support when counseling staff are unavailable. The Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker will facilitate psycho educational sessions, monitor patient interactions, and drive engagement. Flexibility is essential, as working different shift schedules may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead patients in essential life skills education
• Monitor patient participation in activities
• Support clients experiencing emotional challenges
• Conduct case consultations with the multidisciplinary team
• Record observations in the incident reporting system
Requirements:
• Previous experience in mental health or addiction roles
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Flexibility in working various schedules
• Strong observational and reporting skills
• Training in first aid
