As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist school-aged clients in their homes, focusing on delivering compassionate and hands-on care. Essential skills include engaging children positively while ensuring their safety and comfort during visits. This role is ideal for those with experience in pediatric or community care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help with activities of daily living and personal care
• Monitor clients for safety and well-being
• Offer engaging conversation and activities
• Support independence while providing care
• Maintain accurate visit documentation
Requirements:
• PSW certification from an accredited institution
• Active CPR/First Aid certification
• Recent completion of a Criminal Record Check
• Negative TB test within the last year
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
