Part-Time Occupational Therapist at UHN

This role, located at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and relevant experience. Key responsibilities include assessing client eligibility, co-facilitating online groups, and leading hydrotherapy sessions. You'll also collaborate with a dedicated team in a supportive environment focused on optimizing patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake interviews and create personalized service plans

• Co-facilitate online pain self-management education groups

• Lead hydrotherapy group exercise sessions

• Conduct inpatient consults regarding pain management

• Participate in group treatment administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent

• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• 2-5 years of hospital experience

• Strong communication and facilitation skills

• Experience with neurological conditions and persistent pain
