In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring they are prepared for specimen collection. With Life Labs, you will gain valuable experience in key laboratory tasks including phlebotomy and maintaining confidentiality in patient care. Strong customer service skills are vital to succeed in this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact with patients and explain collection processes
• Perform timely phlebotomies and ECGs as needed
• Manage special tests and documentation requirements
• Foster strong relationships with patients and respond to their needs
• Accurately enter information related to specimen testing
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred
• Previous phlebotomy experience is a plus
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Computer proficiency with typing speed of 40 wpm
• Ability to uphold strict patient privacy standards
