As a Personal Support Worker, you'll be part of UHN's esteemed healthcare team, supporting patients in various daily living functions. Responsibilities include performing essential care activities and participating in a safe and respectful care environment, alongside registered healthcare professionals. You’ll gain valuable experience while ensuring compliance with patient safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support patients with essential daily living tasks
• Execute assigned duties under RN or RPN guidance
• Document patient updates thoroughly
• Report any safety hazards or changes in patient conditions
• Maintain an orderly and safe work environment
Requirements:
• Registration with HSCPOA is mandatory
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred
• Strong computer and documentation skills
• Good attendance record essential
