UHN Rehabilitation Assistant Casual Position

This role emphasizes supporting patients undergoing physical rehabilitation, especially within the lung transplant program. You will be integral in ensuring both clinical and administrative tasks are fulfilled, contributing to UHN’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient treatments for recovery progress
• Help therapists with patient mobility and activities
• Oversee patient safety during treatment sessions
• Keep clinical areas stocked and organized
• Engage in supervision of Rehabilitation Assistant students
Requirements:
• Completion of a community college PTA/OTA program
• Relevant experience in acute care preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Current Standard CPR certification required
