As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver
, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by providing one-on-one personalized care and support. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, you’ll deliver services that meet each client’s unique needs in a safe and caring environment. We are looking for PSWs for a new client who will be starting with us in early to mid-October. The client will require care 7 days a week, 8 hours per day
. We are hoping to find 2–3 PSWs who can work together to divide the days and provide consistent coverage. The client is bedbound and uses a Hoyer lift
, so experience with Hoyer lifts and providing care to a bedbound client would be an asset.

• Assist with morning and evening care routines
  .
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands
  .
• Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
• Follow and update care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting
  .
• Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.

• Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  .
• Covid vaccinations.
• Hoyer lift experience.
• Bedbound client experience.
• Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
