Make a difference in young lives as a full-time Occupational Therapist at CAMH’s Slaight Centre Early Intervention Service. Focus on clinical care and job development for youth facing psychotic disorders.
The Child Youth and Emerging Adult Program seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist for a 6-month position will engage in education and employment interventions while working within an interprofessional team. Key responsibilities include planning evidence-based treatments and supporting the NAVIGATE model focused on early intervention and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver education and employment interventions for youth
• Assess and implement clinical care using Slaight Integrated Care Pathway
• Support job development and liaise with community agencies
• Provide supervision to Master's Occupational Therapy students
• Engage patients and their support networks in care planning
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Three years of experience in mental health
• Knowledge of crisis intervention principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
