Registered Massage Therapist; RMT
Registered Massage Therapist Job in Toronto, Ontario
Foundation Physiotherapy & Wellness is hiring for a Registered Massage Therapist job in Toronto, Ontario, and we're looking for someone who is genuinely curious about orthopedic injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. You'll join our busy Corktown, Downtown and Cityplace clinics, where physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and a dedicated administrative team work side by side. Whether you've been in practice for years or have only recently graduated, there is room here to build a caseload you're proud of.
Builtby Physiotherapists, Designed for Collaboration
Foundation describes itself as built by physiotherapists, for you, and you can feel that in the way our clinics run. Our modern multidisciplinary locations are recognized across Toronto for evidence-based musculoskeletal care, and our goal goes beyond symptom relief: we want clients to move better, feel better and live better. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you'll treat people recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgery, and you'll shape their individualized treatment plans together with the clinicians around you rather than working in isolation.
Our team includes physiotherapists, chiropractors and fellow massage therapists, so there is always someone nearby to learn from.
That collaboration matters most when a client needs something beyond your scope. You'll have colleagues close at hand to talk through a complex case, and you'll be trusted to recognize when a referral to another healthcare professional is the right call. Just as important, you'll help clients stay committed to their plans, which is often where good outcomes are won or lost.
It's work that rewards patience, clear communication and a genuine interest in the person on your table.
We've structured this role so that new and experienced therapists alike can develop. Mentorship, clinical rounds and sponsored continuing education are part of the job, not extras you have to find time for. If you want to take on more over time, there are paths into senior associate and paid mentoring roles, and your compensation can rise with both the cost of living and the milestones you reach.
On a typical shift, you'll treat a minimum of six hours, including three consecutive clients followed by a break, and you'll be paid a base hourly wage for your client-facing and non-client-facing time alike. Beyond the treatment room, you'll have chances to take part in community outreach, wellness events and high-profile sports events across the city. Our downtown core and Cityplace locations are TTC-accessible, so your commute doesn't have to take up the energy you'd rather give to your clients.
