Empower clients to live independently as a Personal Support Worker with VHA Home Health Care in Ontario. Provide compassionate care including personal support, meal planning, and mobility assistance.
At VHA Home Health Care, our team of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, client-centered care. You will assist diverse clients, helping them with daily living activities while encouraging independence. This position requires a commitment to nurturing relationships within the community and delivering personalized support to each client.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with grooming, bathing, and dressing
• Help with meal planning and preparation
• Facilitate mobility and safe transfers
• Perform light household duties like cleaning and laundry
• Report changes in client behavior and condition
Requirements:
• PSW certification from a recognized institution
• RN or RPN students with completed first year
• Ability to communicate in English
• Must work weekends or rotational weekends
• Strong commitment to client-centered care
