We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our dedicated team. • Provide comprehensive massage therapy assessments and intervention to children with orthopaedic, neurological, congenital, developmental, or psychological conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Follow an evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment.
• Manage a varied caseload and meet required timelines.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records using the Electronic Medical Record system.

• Provide clear education to patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care programs, and strategies to support the child's overall well-being.
• Collaborate with caregivers to ensure continuity of care and promote a positive and supportive environment for the child.

• Collaborate effectively with Boomerang Health's growing multidisciplinary team, including physicians and a wide array of rehabilitation clinicians, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Collaborate with community partners.

• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development within the field of paediatric massage therapy.
• Engage in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest research and advancements in paediatric massage therapy.
• Take advantage of opportunities for mentorship within the organization to foster personal and professional growth.

• Previous experience or strong interest in paediatric assessment/treatment.
• Minimum three years working experience as a registered massage therapist.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
• Paediatric Massage Certification is preferred.

• Proficiency in assessing and providing evidence-based massage therapy for infants/toddlers, children, and adolescents.
• Experience working in a community-based or outpatient-based paediatric setting preferable.
• Comfortable working with children aged newborn to 18 years.
• Able to adapt treatment techniques and approaches to effectively meet the individual needs, abilities, and goals of each patient.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to interact with children and adults.
• Utilizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills required.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
