Become a crucial part of the cardiac team hael's Hospital as a Part-Time ECG Technician. Perform and document ECG tests while ensuring patient comfort and laboratory supply management.
Unity Health Toronto is seeking a dedicated Part-Time ECG Technician. In this role, you will execute ECG tests, explain procedures to patients, and maintain essential documentation. Additionally, you will ensure that lab supplies are stocked and equipment is functional, all while maintaining statistics on patient volume.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive ECG tests and explain procedures to patients
• Document ECG studies and patient observations accurately
• Complete ECG requisitions and manage test edits
• Maintain laboratory supplies and oversee equipment care
• Track and report on patient volume statistics
Requirements:
• Registration with CTAO and/or CSCT is essential
• Graduate of a recognized Cardiology Technician Program
• Experience with GXT's and Holter setup preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Proven record of excellent customer service and attendance
