This role involves reviewing and dispensing medication orders while monitoring drug therapies for effectiveness. You will ensure safe medication practices and conduct reconciliation, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Foster your skills in a supportive environment while addressing drug-related inquiries and supervising technician staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and dispense doctors' medication orders
• Monitor drug therapies for efficacy and safety
• Conduct medication reconciliation for accuracy
• Address drug information questions effectively
• Provide functional supervision to pharmacy staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada
• Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Experience with Kroll and pharmacy inventory management
• Strong communication and customer service skills
