Opportunity

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to support our Infrastructure business in Canada. This position will also provide recruiting support to the global Infrastructure business as needed. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles within the infrastructure sector. Your ability to source top talent, build relationships, and influence hiring decisions will be critical in driving recruitment efforts in this dynamic and competitive market.

Specific

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify and source qualified professionals for infrastructure projects across Canada.

  • Proactively source, evaluate, and present candidates to meet current and future staffing needs in areas such as transportation, urban development, water, and energy systems.

  • Build trust and strong relationships with hiring managers by delivering results on key positions.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with technical, professional, and management talent across Canada.

  • Represent Parsons at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract top-tier talent.

  • Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities in the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to develop competitive job offers and extend offers to candidates.

  • Ensure compliance with Canadian employment regulations, labour laws, and best practices throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical and professional roles within the infrastructure sector in Canada.

  • Proven track record of success recruiting for high-demand roles in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of provincial labour laws and employment standards across Canada, including Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.

  • Understanding of Federal Contractors Program (FCP) requirements and experience ensuring compliance with FCP obligations.

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
