Wellness and Safety Manager at Hybrid Workplace

Become the Health, Safety, and Wellness Manager in this full-time hybrid position. You will spearhead initiatives that promote employee safety and well-being in a supportive environment.

As part of a 12-month contract, you’ll report to the Director, Human Resources, and manage a variety of health and safety protocols, wellness programs, and DEI initiatives. This role requires collaboration across departments to ensure best practices in health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage health and safety training programs

• Analyze health data trends for continuous improvement

• Oversee workplace wellness initiatives and surveys

• Support the Joint Health and Safety Committee efforts

• Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Human Resources specializing in health and safety

• Educational background in Human Resources or relevant field

• Proficient in HRIS systems, particularly Dayforce

• Knowledge of Ontario's Health & Safety legislation crucial

• Strong leadership and communication skills
