Position: Job Development Specialist in GTA
Become a key player at The Career Foundation as an Employer Engagement & Placement Specialist in the Greater Toronto Area. Focus on job development and foster connections between employers and job seekers.

In this full-time position based in Toronto, you'll engage with employers to understand hiring needs and facilitate impactful placements. Your expertise will enhance employer relations while guiding clients in achieving their employment aspirations. The role includes hybrid work flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to community hiring efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute outreach to potential employers for partnerships

• Plan and execute hiring fairs and recruitment activities

• Align clients’ skills with job opportunities

• Negotiate terms for successful placements

• Maintain documentation for compliance and reporting

Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualification in a relevant discipline

• At least two years of experience in recruitment or engagement

• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships

• Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and access to vehicle

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
