Public Health Ontario HR Compensation Specialist

Support equitable compensation administration as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist at Public Health Ontario, located in Toronto. This full-time role focuses on expert analysis and improvements in compensation and benefits management.

In this pivotal position within HR Operational Services, you will oversee the annual compensation cycle, manage salary structures, and evaluate job positions.

Your role will also include collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to refine compensation offerings and ensure compliance with policies and collective agreements. Your recommendations will guide organizational decision-making on compensation programs and employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead compensation analysis and recommendations for annual cycles

• Manage compliance with pay equity and salary structures

• Evaluate job roles for clarity and consistency in pay

• Monitor benefits programs for efficacy and vendor performance

• Generate insights and reports to facilitate HR decision-making

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree plus at least 7 years related experience

• Familiarity with HR legislation and regulations

• Advanced skills with HR technology and reporting tools

• Certification in Compensation (CCP) preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
