The Engage Foundation, a non-profit organization, is hiring a thoughtful HR Specialist. This position is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for marginalized youth through civic engagement. You will bring your administrative expertise to shape HR practices that reflect the organization's values of community and justice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment processes, including job postings and candidate screening
• Maintain confidential HR records and personnel files
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding staff and contractors
• Develop HR policies with a focus on equity and accessibility
• Collaborate with leadership on team-building and conflict resolution initiatives
Requirements:
• Experience in human resources or HR coordination, preferably in nonprofits
• Strong knowledge of employment law and best HR practices
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Compassionate communication skills with a team-oriented approach
• Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Workspace
