Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Scrum Master III for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:Participates fully as a member of the agile team (, Product Group, Product Family), supports a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestProvides thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for agile execution and participates in capability building for the team and business unitKeeps current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, and agile related tools / techniquesParticipate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own teamKeeps others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of committed work and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activitiesContributes to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.Leads, motivates and develops relationships with internal and external Agile teams to develop productive working relationshipsContributes to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforceActs as a brand ambassador for the bank, both internally and/or externallyRequirements:Experienced Scrum Master capable of supporting - simple to complex pods/agile teamsComprehensive knowledge / expertise in own domain / field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas and supporting a small team of professionals assigned to agile teamsRequires full understanding of the Client processes, procedures and systemsCan transition to Agile Coach I coaching role with appropriate trainingUses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve efficiency of own and other teamsHelps resolve complex problems and is able to identify viable and often innovative optionsUnderstands scaling characteristicsBegins to influence outside of immediate work and/or agile teamShares knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among and across agile teams and ensures the timely communication of issues and encouragement of good working relationships with other functions and teamsSupports an environment where team freely escalates challenges; facilitates change through positive reinforcement of successesGenerally reports to Practice Lead and contributes directly to assigned Journey or Platform+ years of Scrum Master experienceSomeone who has supported at least infrastructure project and understands infrastructure as a wholeScrum Master (Safe or ) certificationStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Coachable and takes initiative to improveStrong presentation and facilitation skillsPrior banking or financial institutions experienceAgile coaching experience (coaching pods, and understanding Agile best practices)Why Should You Apply?Excellent growth and advancement opportunities
