What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Learning Director, the Learning Coordinator will oversee the course administration cycle and support the day-to-day operations of the training team. They will partner closely with HR, HR Systems team and Operational teams to maintain the learning calendar, and work with various partners to ensure learning capability exists for current and future needs. Please note this is an 8-month contract opportunity.
What You'll Do Here:
Provide administration and coordination support of training courses to ensure effective and timely course information, registration and logisticsResolve challenges concerning the delivery of training programs between registrants, trainers, partners and external service providersConsult with client groups on new courses and logistics to ensure efficient program planning and streamlined course vendor relationshipsManage the training team billing, material orders and training contractsGenerate relevant dashboards/reports to provide accurate information regarding the administration, compliance and value of the training courses offeredSupport training projects by supporting administration, logistics, pilot planning and deploymentResearch industry trends and learning innovations to promote Aecon’s learning cultureWhat You Bring to the Team:
3 years experience in planning and coordinating complex training session logistics & schedules1-3 years managing billing, POs and invoicesExperience working with Learning Management Systems is an assetExperience working with Virtual Classroom / MS Teams is a strong assetStrong technical skills (SAP, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel, Word, Office 365)Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and communication skillsHighly organized to manage short and long term projects and respond to changing priorities and timelinesAbility to exercise judgment in dealing with registrant issues and concernsDevelop positive, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers
