We're hiring a Senior Front-End Developer who loves crafting beautiful, intuitive interfaces and turning complex ideas into seamless user experiences. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our front-end architecture, champion best practices, and mentor others on the team. • Successfully gather and understand requirements from stakeholders in order to identify gaps and deliver on those objectives.
• Work closely with Design and Development teams to manage the iterative agile development process for new and existing products; assist in estimating resource needs and timelines.
• Develop effective user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX); develop small iterative improvements to user interactions.
• Conduct requirement gathering meetings/research with stakeholders; clarify requirements and make necessary changes to meet business needs.
• Work on an interdisciplinary team that includes designers and developers to build prototypes and conduct user testing.
• Attempt best-in-class execution in every project.
• Mentor Front-End Developers and Design Technologists.
• Componentize and improve our Front-End codebase.

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Front-End Development (or related) experience.
• Experience working closely with designers and developers is a must.

• Software skills; ability to use/learn a variety of software e.g., Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, VS Code, etc.
• Collaboration skills – ability to brainstorm creative solutions using wireframes/sketches/whiteboarding while leveraging solid design principles on a diverse team in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
• Results-oriented and efficient planner focusing on user needs.
• Committed to continuous professional development and training.
• Mastery of HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with a variety of front-end development frameworks is valued.
• Experience working in a Ruby on Rails-based environment is a plus.
