Join a top-tier Canadian bank’s Quality Engineering team to ensure robust data pipelines and systems. This role focuses on validating ETL processes, APIs, and data integrity using Python, SQL, and automation best practices.

• Develop and execute tests for ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) using Python and SQL.
• Validate APIs to verify proper data integration and handling.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data mappings, uncover discrepancies, and report defects.
• Utilize version‑control tools (e.g., Git) for test automation code and data scripts.
• Analyze data quality and apply data‑driven insights—leveraging reporting tools where needed.

• 5–7+ years of experience in test automation, with 5+ in data testing within financial services.
• Strong Python skills and understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Advanced SQL capabilities and hands‑on experience testing databases.
• Proven ETL testing expertise—automating validation of data pipelines.
• Experience in API testing and integration testing.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
