Spanish Project Manager

Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire a Spanish Project Manager for their team with a contract for 6 months is renewable. This role is Hybrid i.e. 1 - 3 days/per week ( Tuesdays and any other days) in the office for their Toronto office.

Typical Day in Role:
o Define project governance, identify senior stakeholders and sponsors to form a steering committee if necessary, and work with the Project Sponsor to prepare appropriate information for dissemination.
o Hold meetings and work sessions to ensure project management deliverables are met, provide support to clients, motivate the project team, and maintain project momentum against changing priorities
o Develop creative approaches to problem resolution, with a focus on overall business solutions rather than specific packages or technologies.
o Identify and confirm project leads from all required stakeholders to ensure responsibilities and deliveries are understood
o Work with the Project Sponsor to establish and manage the project scope, ensuring Project Change Notifications are raised and approved as necessary.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
o 8-10 years of experience in banking and financial services
o 3-5 years of experience in product development methodologies (Banking products, analytics models, or any other) and good understanding of technical architecture.
o Fluent in Spanish and English.
o 8-10 years of experience in project management tools (Microsoft Office 365, Confluence and Jira) and Agile methodologies.
o 3-5 years of emerging technologies such as GCP and/or Azure,
o Knowledge of banking, data processing, planning techniques, budget management, organizational management, , the Bank's Systems Development Methodology, and security awareness principles are necessary.

Nice-To-Have

Skills:

o Scrum Master Certification is an asset
o A PMP designation is an asset.
