The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Employee Central Consultant to join our Managed Services team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in SAP Success Factors Employee Central who thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will be responsible for ongoing support, configuration, issue resolution, and enhancement of Employee Central modules for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:

AMS Delivery:

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP Success Factors Employee Central within multiple AMS engagements.
  • Handle configuration changes, data corrections, and troubleshooting of EC-related issues.
  • Collaborate with client HR and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Monitor and manage service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Participate in release management, regression testing, and deployment of EC updates and platform releases.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Support integrations between Employee Central and other modules (e.g., Payroll, Time Off, Recruiting).
  • Document configuration changes, SOPs, and user guides for client reference.
  • Provide training and guidance to client stakeholders and junior consultants.
  • Support implementation projects, including managing activities such as requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, AMS delivery leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Lead regular client calls to walk through the status of defects, problems, and enhancement requests.
  • Provide clear updates, facilitate prioritization discussions, and ensure alignment on next steps.
  • Build strong relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with SAP Success Factors updates and AMS delivery trends.
  • Recommend best practices based on new product features and updates.
  • Participate in release management, regression testing, and deployment of EC payroll platform updates.
  • Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Success Factors Employee Central.
  • Strong understanding of EC data models, workflows, business rules, and role-based permissions.
  • Knowledge of release management and Success Factors upgrade cycles.
  • Certification in one or more Success Factors modules (e.g., EC, PMGM, LMS, Comp, RCM).
  • Exposure to other Success Factors modules (e.g., Global Benefits, EC, PMGM, LMS, Comp, RCM).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Points For

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Service Now, Jira) and ITIL processes.
  • Exposure to Agile and ITIL-based delivery models.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role within a consulting or managed services environment.
