What is the Opportunity?

RBC offers an exciting role as a Senior Capacity and Analytics Specialist. In this role you will provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.

This role is responsible for regularly producing meaningful performance insights through analyzing data to inform capacity planning, resource allocation, and process improvements within HR Operations.

What will you do?
  • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data‑driven solutions.
  • Providing HR Operations leaders with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis.
  • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools.
What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying potential capacity risks/performance issues.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights.
  • Experience in building and maintaining capacity and workforce planning models to forecast volumes, resource utilization and workload distribution.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, trend forecasting and scenario modelling to support data‑driven decisions.
  • Ability to design and automate Service Now reports and dashboards to track KPIs, SLAs and other operational metrics.
  • Understanding of workflow management tools (SN) and how operational data can inform capacity planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence HR leaders to align on actions to drive performance goals.
  • Skilled at preparing management reports and executive summaries that clearly convey operational performance and trends.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on accuracy, efficiency and business impact.
