Job Description & How to Apply Below

Dig Insights is a tech-enabled research company that helps our clients - global consumer brands - move beyond consumer-centric to decision-centric. Our clients can then go to market with innovations that shift consumer decisions in their favor.

Our work is supported by the technologies that we leverage and create. This includes Upsiide, our proprietary innovation insights platform. Upsiide is a SaaS platform that reinvents how enterprise companies screen, optimize, and build a business case for innovation.

Our clients span verticals including FMCG, QSR, retail, technology, financial services, and telecommunications. Our work is led by a team of over 250 strategists, insights leaders and data scientists. We work for a global client base out of offices in Toronto, Chicago, and London.

Our success is due to our strong commitment to our clients, and the creativity and dedication of our entire team. Since the beginning, we have been focused on building the smartest consumer insights company and that means hiring people who are bright, creative, resourceful, and kind.

As we continue to grow, both geographically and in our expertise, we are looking for people who want to join a high-growth and highly collaborative company.

Senior Product Designer – About this role

At Dig Insights, we are building a consumer intelligence platform that empowers companies to make smarter decisions—faster. Our products, including Upsiide, which brings a mobile-first, gamified approach to quantitative research, and One Cliq.io, which analyzes unstructured data from social and digital sources, help teams unlock real-time insights and move forward with confidence.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be hands-on in designing intuitive, scalable, insight-driven experiences across our growing portfolio. You’ll help define and refine design systems, work directly with users and stakeholders, and collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to bring new ideas to life.

This is a role for someone who’s excited to solve complex UX challenges, contribute to a modern product development process, and help us push the boundaries of what research software can do.

People who succeed at Dig are smart, creative, fun and able to work through complex projects to deliver real-time answers. They question established research practices and are passionate about helping our clients to move their businesses forward. People at Dig Insights are not only comfortable working in a fast-moving organization – it’s where they thrive.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with researchers to conduct usability tests, interviews, and other forms of user validation.
  • Contribute to and help evolve our design system and visual standards.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth handoff and high-quality implementation.
  • Advocate for the user in all product decisions, balancing usability with business goals.
  • Help improve internal design processes, documentation, and workflows.
  • Bring a strong point of view to design critiques and team discussions.

  • A portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work across web and/or mobile.
  • Strong skills in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools for wire framing, prototyping, and visual design.
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0).
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams and presenting your work to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Attention to detail, from the big picture to the smallest pixel.
