Role Overview
SALT XC is seeking a Digital Intern to support the Digital team across day‑to‑day digital tasks and project coordination.
This role offers hands‑on exposure to how digital and media programs are planned, executed, and supported within a collaborative agency environment. As a Digital Coordinator, you’ll assist with campaign setup, platform support, and reporting while learning industry‑standard tools and workflows through structured mentorship. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Media, Digital, Strategy, and Account teams, building foundational digital skills and contributing to the continued growth of Salt XC’s digital offering.
This is a 4‑month full‑time contract. Hybrid: 2‑3 days in office at our Salt Toronto Head Office.
Core Responsibilities
Support digital projects by assisting with task tracking, timelines, and day‑to‑day coordination.
Help prepare materials, schedules, and documentation to keep work moving smoothly.
Assist with basic digital production tasks across platforms (e.g., content updates, uploads, QA support).
Support the use of digital tools and platforms by following established processes and guidelines.
Review briefs and requirements to understand project goals, deliverables, and constraints.
Support documentation of requirements, assumptions, and updates as directed by the team.
Assist with meeting preparation, notes, and follow‑ups to support clear communication.
Communicate questions, updates, or issues to the Digital team in a timely and professional manner.
Support quality checks by reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment to requirements.
Flag potential issues, errors, or risks early and elevate to the appropriate team member.
Follow established digital processes, tools, and documentation standards.
Maintain organized files, task updates, and records to support efficient team operations.
Experience & Skills
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
Organized and able to multi‑task.
High level of efficiency and accuracy.
Foundational technology skills – familiarity with O365, social & digital media.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability and strong problem‑solving skills.
