Work You'll Do
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. You will deploy infrastructure and platform environments, create proofs of architecture to validate viability, security, and performance. You are expected to be a subject‑matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative cloud solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
Work onsite typically 3 days a week.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing/designing cloud PaaS & IaaS components.
Experience with Git Hub pipelines & Git Hub Actions design and deployment.
Familiarity with Terraform provisioning or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong coordination and communication skills, including verbal and written updates to technical stakeholders.
Ability to understand how infrastructure supports deployments, even when application code is managed by another team.
Exposure to blue/green or canary deployments.
Experience working in enterprise environments that blend modern cloud and legacy systems.
Comfort working in fast‑paced release cycles across test, performance, and production environments.
Certification: AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator.
NICE TO HAVE
Certifications:
AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate, AZ-400 Designing and Implementing Microsoft Dev Ops Solutions.
Skills in automation and AI related to cloud infrastructure.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full‑time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit— in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
Role Location & Salary Range:
British Columbia/Ontario: $33.39 to $57.43 per hour.
