In this role, you will:
Understand and deliver a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.Accountable for executing change requests for updated and new training content (including, but not limited to version accuracy, request requirements, document review for formatting and language standards, etc.).Develops or advises the overall framework, design, strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements.Perform all ADDIE Model tasks from start to finish when developing content.Assist with the creation of facilitation decks.Champion usability and accessibility of learning material by utilizing digital creation knowledge to develop accessible digital learning content.Maintains learning programs to ensure up-to-date learning content, friendly usability, troubleshooting technical issues, etc. Provides end-user support and resolves low risk inquiries and concerns. Collaborates with the Learning Delivery team to execute courses and maintain existing learning programs.Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global SalesPrinciples, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct riskChampions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

Post-secondary education in Business, Digital Communications, or Adult Learning is an assetPrevious experience as an Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Design roleAdvanced knowledge of Articulate Storyline, and/or other eLearning softwareAdvanced knowledge of Camtasia and/or Snagit as video editing softwareAdvanced knowledge of developing Accessibility according to AODA standardPrevious experience in Learning Management SystemsPrevious experience in designing and developing digital learning content preferredWeb/ HTML Design is an assetWorking Conditions:
Work in a standard office-based environment.The incumbent must work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities and changing project requirements.Must be able to react quickly to resolve problems and work overtime on many occasions to meet project deadlines.
