Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time. The Dev Ops Consultant is responsible for leading Salesforce CRM deployments via Azure Dev Ops adoption. The role designs and implements end-to-end automation for CI/CD Dev Ops pipelines. The Dev Ops Consultant provides hands‑on technical assistance to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs.
FutureDuties and Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Design:
Design and implement seamless CI/CD pipeline integrations with Salesforce via Azure Dev Ops. - Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, Project Managers, and the Dev Ops team to align technical solutions with business objectives and timelines. - Automation & Optimization:
Develop architectural patterns and reusable YAML templates to streamline CI/CD implementations across multiple teams and projects. - Best Practices:
Establish and refine Dev Ops best practices, focusing on automation, performance optimization, and security compliance using Power Shell and Python. - Technical Guidance:
Provide hands‑on technical assistance to develop precise steps and processing logic across platforms, ensuring specifications meet business needs.
- Experience:
5+ years supporting Salesforce CRM deployments via Azure Dev Ops, with expertise in source code management and version control. - Automation: 3+ years of experience in Power Shell and/or Python scripting for automation.
- Salesforce Dev Ops Expertise:
- Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
- Executing SFDX commands, Metadata API, and XML deployments.
- Knowledge of Salesforce packaging structure.
- CI/CD & Tools:
- Continuous Integration and Deployment of Salesforce CRM via Azure Dev Ops.
- Git branching strategies, Sonar Qube, and sandbox administration.
- Pre- and post-deployment automation steps.
- Additional
Skills:
Familiarity with Git Hub Actions for Salesforce CRM deployments.
