The AWS Partner Systems team supports Partner Sales, the APN, and other elements driving the AWS partner ecosystem for partners, customers, and internal users responsible for AWS sales and adoption via partners.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from small, mid-market, and enterprise customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.

AWS Partner Systems is looking for a results-oriented, self-driven Development professional who can help create the next generation of distributed, scalable systems that support AWS current and future business needs. You will design and develop services that process millions of transactions in a secured environment, in a fast-paced setting with high data volumes and complex business contexts.

If you have cloud experience, enjoy building, are self-directed, know how to get things done, are a motivated learner, can mentor and lead teams, and are ready to take on big challenges, this is the right job for you. This role leverages practical experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture).

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) on new or existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
