We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Integration Specialist to act as a subject matter expert on enterprise-level datacenter and cloud initiatives for the Government of Ontario. This role involves enabling and supporting day‑to‑day operations across multiple environments, including Government Data Centres (GDC, Colo3), Business Connect, and major public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI, Google Cloud).
Scope- Support daily operations of AHS and cloud applications (patching, monitoring, etc.).
- Integrate and secure cloud services for applications.
- Provide operational support for networking / security across GDC/Colo3, Business Connect, OPCS, and perimeter firewalls for Azure, AWS, and Прост cloud.
- Manage incident / problem resolution and daily operational changes.
- Create and execute technical Method of Procedure (MoP) for all changes and document root‑cause analysis for network captures.
- Participate in major infrastructure projects, including ENA service migration, GDC floor consolidation, Cisco switch refresh, and CheckPoint firewall refresh.
- Provide on‑call / standby support for regular and after‑hours operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and service delivery.
- 10+ years of experience working in enterprise‑level environments, including n‑Tiered Data Centre Networks and Tier‑IV Data Centre operations.
- Strong expertise in Networking technologies:
Cisco switching, routing, and F5 load balancing. - Advanced knowledge of Security technologies:
Firewalls (CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Cisco FTD). - Hands‑on experience with Cloud platforms:
Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud. - Proven ability to manage incident / problem resolution, SLA compliance, and operational changes.
- Previous experience working within the Ontario Public Service (OPS) environment.
- Familiarity with Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
- Knowledge of automation tools for operational efficiency.
- Exposure to micro‑segmentation and advanced security design in hybrid environments.
