Service Now Solution Architect (Senior Manager)
As a Service Now Solution Architect, you will lead the design, assessment, enhancement, and integration of advanced Service Now solutions for Huron’s clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, steering strategic engagements and overseeing technical excellence from discovery through delivery. Leveraging your expertise in Service Now and in integrating with enterprise platforms such as Workday and Oracle, you will drive clarity, direction, and innovation in ambiguous and high-impact client environments.

Flexible living locations across the U.S and Canada with travel required for client engagements and team collaboration up to 30%.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Participates in requirements workshops and / or story grooming for a Huron Service Now project

  • Creates technical designs for stories asrequired

  • Estimates level of effort for user stories

  • Executes complex configurations and customizations including scripting, APIs; includes configuration, documentation, unit test case development, and unit testing(REST and SOAP integrations, integration spokes, and custom APIs for sending data from / toService

    Nowfrom external systems)

  • Providesday to daytechnical direction, supportand mentoring to aprojectteam ofsenior developers,developers and testers.

  • Assistsin complex solutioning with a goal of maintaining OOB functionality to the greatest extent possible

  • Participates in architectural governanceasrequired

  • Reviews Team unit test plans to ensure they are comprehensiveand adequately prove required functionality. Ensure test casesare defined for happypath, conditional paths, negative paths, boundary conditions, and edge conditions.

  • Peertests developer user stories

  • Peer reviews story implementations for best practicesand ensures OOB functionality isretainedto the greatest extent possible

  • Coordinates and collaborates with external systemresources to define, implement, test, and deploy integrations

  • Point of technical contactduring execution of UAT testing

  • Manages the creationof deploymentdocumentation, scripts, update set packaging,validation, and technical signoff

  • Executes the production deployment on behalf of the client

  • Technical lead forinitialhypercareperiod

  • Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or other relevant field of study

  • 5+ yearsin a Service Now technical delivery capacity (preferablywith an Elite-level Service Now partner - not in an internal role)

  • 7+ greenfield implementationsof multiple Service Now modules, including "Now Assist" and "AI Agents"

  • Current Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification REQUIRED

  • Current Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certification REQUIRED

  • 2 Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certifications in 2 different product linesREQUIRED

  • Progressive growth through experienceas a developer and senior developer

  • Lead technical resource onyour last 2 implementations

  • Working knowledge of predictive analytics, generative AI, and Agentic AI

  • Knowledge of virtual agent
