We are looking for an AI Engagement Tech Lead to join our growing team and drive the deployment and evolution of our Mar Tech platform and solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who still loves to ship code but is equally passionate about tackling client challenges, shaping technical direction, and collaborating cross-functionally. As a Tech Lead, you’ll serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with the core client team and our platform team on long-term architecture, collaborating with Product Managers on roadmap planning, and working with other Technical Leads across the organization to ensure cohesion and scalability in everything we build.

• Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for our client teams, owning the technical direction and quality of solutions designed and deployed.
• Act as the primary technical liaison to client technology leadership during implementation, guiding the approval of all proposed technical solutions.
• Lead discovery of current state tech stack versus ambition, and work with our Platform Team to deliver a roadmap for implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including extended integrations with client technology and data systems beyond the immediate project scope.
• Own the ongoing reliability and effectiveness of our technology throughout the lifecycle of our engagement and ensure our clients are set up for success.
• Contribute directly to our Mar Tech platform's priorities and roadmap, working with our internal engineering team on technical architecture and long-term planning so they are always aligned with the needs and vision for our client engagement.
• Lead technical workshops and planning sessions with our client both onsite and virtually.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally across the full stack.
• 3+ years of people management experience (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar).
• Comfortable in a hybrid technical/data role, bridging engineering and data-driven decision-making.
• Solid understanding of secure integrations, API authentication, and OAuth 2.0 flows.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in production.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design or clean architecture patterns.

• Background working in high-compliance environments (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
• Prior experience bootstrapping teams or greenfield systems.
