Business Analyst – IT III (Data Governance)

Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract
Overview:
Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise data governance initiatives within the Data Office. Focus on data quality, lineage, metadata, compliance, and documentation, working closely with data engineers and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and document data governance requirements
- Define data quality rules, KPIs, and controls
- Capture data lineage, metadata, and ownership
- Support system migrations and automation
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and maintain governance documentation
- Strong experience with Databricks and data lineage
- Exposure to Unity Catalog
, Collibra
, Informatica
, or Purview - Knowledge of data quality and metadata standards
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
