Position: Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js, React, TypeScript)

Our client is Canadas largest retailer, their healthcare BU is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js, React, TypeScript)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Next.js and Type Script , supported by strong React experience. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance, production-grade web applications and contribute to end-to-end feature development. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location:

  • Downtown (Bathurst & Lakeshore)
  • Hybrid: 1 day per week onsite

    • Duration:

  • 6-month contract

    • Responsibilities

  • Lead development and maintenance of modern web applications using Next.js
    , React
    , and Type Script
  • Build performant, SEO-friendly, and scalable user interfaces leveraging Next.js features (SSR, SSG, routing, APIs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application architecture, feature design, and performance optimization
  • Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and security

    • Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of frontend development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Next.js as a primary framework
  • Advanced proficiency in React and Type Script
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
